The Power of the Silence within the Light

Did you ever realize how great, how deep, how powerful is the Silence within the Light? Remember, every human being, in our modern world especially, needs more frequently a stilling of the emotional body, which means a quieting of the whirls and vibratory action in the energy of your feelings.

When I speak of the Silence, I mean that Great Great Stillness that comes so deep within your feelings that you almost feel you do not need to breathe. This is a thing that people of the modern Western World need perhaps a great deal more than they realize.

One of our Great Beloved Ascended Masters, our Blessed Saint Germain, has said, "If the human could only be still and at peace, how much more wonderfully would things work out than in the human desire to physically do the thing; for in the stillness of the outer, one would be caused to do only the thing he should do. That, however, does not mean inertia. It does not mean to sit in a corner with your hands in your lap and expect something to fall out of the atmosphere into your use. Action is the Law of Life, because Life is, truly speaking, perpetual motion. But the feelings ofthe individual should be held at ease, even in the midst of action."

Every word we speak, which means a physical sound into the atmosphere about us, creates vibration, and either raises ourselves and others into Perfection or sinks ourselves and others into destruction. When one understands how much useless conversation fills the atmosphere which all of us must breathe, you begin to understand why there is the need in the Western World for the Power of the Great Silence. There is a time to speak and a time to be silent; and only your "Mighty I AM Presence" will be able to control you when you turn your Heart to that "Presence"and ask It to hold you silent whenever you need to be silent, and to speak only when you should speak.

Then when sometimes there is disagreement or resistance between individuals, if one or the other would just cease talking, and being still, call to the "Mighty I AM Presence" to charge the feelings of both with the Power of the Great Silence to see that each one does only the perfect thing, the very Harmony attained through that Call would be the solution of the problems.
